Merry Christmas...and a Happy New Year!

Christmas is always so fun with kids bringing a little of the magic and excitement to the celebration. My kids were with me till around noon, so I got to sleep in a little bit-with Cambria not being the early riser my kids are. Cambria was so fun to watch this year as she was old enough to enjoy what was going on. Santa was really good to her this year!

Brielle got a cute hat made by Aunt Cindee- and she was just happy playing with, ripping, and eating tissue paper:)

Thomas and Keira immediately went to see what Santa left them once they got here. So fun to see their excitement!

Normally we do this Christmas Eve, but since the kids weren't with me, we postponed it till Christmas night. Drawing names to see who plays what part, we did our annual nativity

This was our first time trying a night in Bethlehem themed dinner. It wasn't received with very much enthusiasm as most preferred the hearty big feast with lots of meat. Oh dear, we are spoiled:)

Christmas came and went so fast! New Year's Eve, the boys broke out their firecrackers and other really noisy fireworks...a little bit of fun for them before Jacob leaves.

I let Thomas and Keira stay up this year for the count down. Keira conked out around 10:30 while I was reading stories to them. She sure tried to stay up, though:) So, this is Thomas and I giving our toast to the New Year! 2014- Whoop! Whoop!

New Year's Day we took Jacob to the MTC. It was a quick drop off, they give you a whole 2 minutes to say goodbye. Jacob did amazingly well. What a great way to start off the year-dedicating your life to serving the Lord. Proud of you Jacob!

Tis the Season!

Who doesn't like Christmas? We have been counting down the days (well, the kids especially), but have been enjoying all the fun things you can do around Christmas.

Keira loves to join in on all the picture taking. Look at these precious girlies!

 Actually, this one is from Thanksgiving. I enjoyed getting to see my dad and have most of the family together. Here's the Bunker clan!

We have our little Elf on the Shelf. Thomas thinks it's fake, but Keira and Cambria enjoy trying to find him every morning. Some times he is still in the same spot, though...someone needs to be more on the ball;) This is just one of the places we have "found him." He was also found in a stocking, reading a book to princess figures, and surrounded by wadded up Kleenex tissues with a cold. Kids, be good, he is watching you:) (We also tied it in with Heavenly Father also watching us)

 We had Charissa and Dustin, Christy and David come over to decorate gingerbread men with us. Always so fun to see them! 

 It has been a while since I've made to Temple Square, so I made it a point to go this year. Love the lights, love the Spirit that is always felt there! 

Crazy hair day for spirit week at school. If you look in the mirror Keira had a bunch of pony tails she wanted. Thomas wanted a spiked circular "nest" affect, although you can't see that real well.

Sledding fun at the park with Cambria and Brielle- it's one sure way to wear out a couple of kids:)

We've also been to see the Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork. Word of advice, though...go at the beginning of December. There were sooo many cars the week OF Christmas.
