Spring Adventures

It's been a good couple of months since I last posted.

We have a new addition to the household. I got to be at the delivery of Aria. She is a sweetheart. Loves to be held and won't sleep otherwise, of course.

Not even a week later, Natalie wanted to get out of the house, and thought bowling would be fun. So we had a nice family bowling time with Jen when she came to visit.

Then we had a Bunker family picnic when Pam came to town. It was a beautiful Spring day! We had fun skipping rocks, sticking our  feet in the water, and BBQing. Definitely need to do that again!

I hope everyone had a fun Easter like we did. Always fun to dye eggs and go on our neighborhood egg hunt. The candy should last them till Halloween:)

For missionary month, the young men and young women went around and honored the missionaries that are out in our ward by hanging their country/state's flag in our yard and gave us a banner to put up. So neat seeing all those around the neighborhood for a week.

For Spring Break, I took the kids on a hike. My second time up the Y and the kids did great! Love the view from the top!

Life is still full of adventures. Now, let's see if I can get through to the end of the school year

Keira is 7!

January has been fun with birthdays and princess parties. Keira is a beautiful 7 year old now. We did another friend party this year, complete with costumes and giggles.
I found a cute Frozen scavenger hunt for them to do.

All the treats correlated with a princess: Ariel's Fish Friends, Sleeping Beauty's kiss, Tinkerbell's pixie dust, etc. Just for fun!

They broke the piƱata and got fun treasures...

Presents time...

Played Pin-the-Kiss-on-the-Frog. The girls did amazingly well. They said they couldn't see, but I wonder...

Then we let them do a little "makeover." Natalie put blush and eyeshadow on them, and I helped with the nails. But many of the girls wanted to paint each other's nails, which made my job easy:) It was so cute

Cambria had a fun "Tangled" party with some family the week before. Abby, Abi, and Keira make lovely princesses

We played a get tangled up game with streamers where they had to see who could wrap the other person up the best in one minute. They wanted to do it over and over. Who knew streamers could provide such great entertainment?:)

Natalie found cute lanterns for the kids to paint (I love how Thomas is writing Chinese characters)

We have probably had way too many sweets this month, and gone a little girly in this house, but we love these little girls and were excited to celebrate with them.

Keira at 7 loves Elsa, coloring, she's learning to like puzzles, still likes singing, she's back in ballet (for a little bit she didn't want to do it anymore, so we didn't sign her up for the Fall, but then she kept saying she really wanted to go again, so…she at least has to go until the recital. Seems to be enjoying again), she started taking piano lessons (I tried, but she didn't want to take me seriously as a piano teacher. But I think I gave her a good start for someone else and I'm proud at how well she's doing with it!). And, she lost her 2nd tooth. What a big girl! Happy birthday to Keira!

Happy Holidays

Right after our first snowfall this year, I thought it looked beautiful and wanted to do snow family pictures this year. Natalie is always so willing and has such talent. Thomas, on the other hand, did not want to take pictures.

Right after Thanksgiving, we got out the tree

Christmas Eve Nativity (half of us)

Decorating gingerbread men with Jen

…and the kids

Christmas morning- we got some excited kids!

Thomas really wanted a Jedi robe and double light saber (that's not the light saber, but he got it). One happy boy…and we got a white Christmas

Keira got her Frozen toys she wanted

Love my little girl

They decided to sleep on the same bed one night and this is what I found. So cute!

First time sledding for the year is always fun

And we loved having Jen join us

Keira even saw one of her friends from her school

Can you believe all of these youngens stayed awake clear till midnight to do the countdown and toast with us? Happy New Year! We have been playing lots of games and enjoying our time together to start off the year right:) And of course, we had to make dad's chili. Yum!

Hope you all had a good celebration- with Christmas and New Years! Cheers!
