Cabin Reunion

I am so glad I was able to make it to the reunion this year! This is one of my favorite places to be and nothing beats being with family! We missed those who couldn't make it, but take a look at this beautiful gang! (I don't know where Jay's crew was...sorry, not quite a complete group of even who was there)

Jennifer and Kendal bonding. He's getting so big!

Jordyn pushing Keira in the baby swing/hammock. I think her days in that thing are over...her bum was just about dragging

However, it is perfect for Cambria, who enjoyed it for about 2 minutes before she wanted her mom.

Thomas found his new favorite thing to do at the cabin. Jay took us shooting and the little boys, Braden and Thomas spent most the time shooting BB Guns. Look at the difference in stances. Thomas will have to practice that, but he enjoyed hitting his paper target on the tree.

Here's Kristin shooting a 22 rifle

And Becca.. (we all had several chances to shoot, but these two were all I got before my battery died)

Nobody seemed to want to played any night games that night and were all sitting around trying to decided whether to go to bed or stay up, so us girls decided to play the game we learned a while ago where you choose an occupation, object, and place and you have to act in out for 3 people who were sent out of the room. It's like charades mixed with telephone. Anyway, it was a crack up! Here is Ellie acting out massage therapist (sorry for the blurry pictures)

Natalie being a fan

And Kristin acting out Disneyland (going down Splash Mtn. - the "you go left, I'll go right" positions)

We also played whiffle ball, the boys went to the caves, we played water balloon volleyball, card games, and Grandma and Grandpa shared some of there favorite memories of their life and how they met and everything. There never seems to be enough time to spend with everyone and to enjoy the fun at the cabin.

Christiana and David's Wedding

Last weekend was my little sister, Christiana's wedding. It was so good having my dad and family, and Jared and Brittany in town and seeing some of my aunts, uncles, and grandpa! I put up quite a bit of pictures...Becky, we missed you but now you can get an idea of what all happened and how everyone looked.

The kids all played with Cherilyn during the sealing, but right when we all went outside Keira climbed up the stairs to the temple and wanted a picture by the door.

Christy had a few beautiful girls always wiling to carry her train

Immediate family photo, minus spouses and kids

David and his friends (his family was unable to make it but he had lots of friend support and his uncle came)

Bridesmaids and Flower girl

Avery, Cailyn, Keira, and Thomas (too bad Keira wasn't looking). They all had so much fun together!

The newlywed couple: Christina and David

With Grandpa Bunker

Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

With Aunts, Uncle, and Grandpa Bunker

Christy and her nieces and nephews

Cherilyn and Keira...awww!

At lunch with Carsten & Cari, and Dustin & Charissa (waiting for the rest of the immediate family to join - we all split off to do different things until the reception. Jared and Brittany went to Ogden to visit her grandma)

Gotta have at least one goofy picture :)

Bunker Family

Grandpa and I

Family visiting while finishing up their African dinner (chicken, rice, fried fish, some kind of mushed corn/tamale type things, and very spicy dipping sauce. I took a tiny taste of that sauce and that was it. The food wasn't bad, though...just different :) )

The little room where all the food and refreshments were

For entertainment, David's friends did a little drumming...

Dancing with African music...

There was a Father/Daughter dance

Christy and David's first dance as a married couple

Keira dancing with her Grandpa
(It was very hot and crowded in there but it was fun to watch and see how Christy and David were enjoying it all)

Cutting the cake. The cake got a bit ruined after the guys that made it got in a little car accident. Luckily he was ok, but the cake was late getting and not quite all in one piece anymore, so they just used the top layer. Christy seemed totally calm and ok about it all. What do you do right? She was just happy to be married. :)

He did get her a little messy, but not too bad;)

David's friend gave a very nice toast, in which we all had sparkling cider ;)

The Car: Balloons, streamers, newspaper, saran wrap, etc. What a mess! But it was a fun time, a great weekend with everyone!

It was a fun time, a great weekend with everyone! Congrats Christy and David!
