Summer Days

It's hard to believe summer is almost over. It's certainly been a different and more stressful summer than what I am used to, but I made sure to have fun with the kids too. And for me too, as I have taken up zumba as well, but only about once a month. Love it, though.

Natalie had an excellent idea of making calzones (or Thomas just wanted pizza). They loved creating their own!

When we weren't able to go to the Payson pool, we pulled out the blow-up pool for them to jump around in

PIONEER DAY - our first time attending a parade for Pioneer Day. This time, in Mapeton.

It's very difficult to get a normal smile out of Thomas

Some of the amazing floats. They cracked me up, though...only in Utah

S'more dessert. Yum! It was a little rainy so we made s'mores by stove fire.
Natalie told Thomas to see how many marshmallows he could fit in his mouth. I can't remember how many actually fit, but here is his chubby cheeks;)

Keira didn't care for the sparklers

Last week, Mom and Andy had a work party - 50s theme. There were carnival games, big balloon slides, swing dancers, and lots of yummy food. The kids treated themselves to giant cotton candy servings. We enjoyed their party! Thanks guys!

Mother's Day

I had a good Mother's Day last week. Andy made us girls breakfast in bed...so sweet. The kids each gave me little kids they made in school (Keira- a pot holder with her handprint on it; and Thomas- a hand made  card and lamented picture he drew of a Van Gogh, I think, painting.) Love those hand made gifts!
Later, we went to Jeremy and Candace's baby blessing they had at Candace's parents, then a BBQ afterwards. It was so good to see everyone again! And Jeremy gave a beautiful blessing!

I am so thankful to be a mom! It is the best "job" ever!

The 3 little girls. Keira's brown eyes don't quite fit it with Abi and Cambria's big blue ones, but they all are so dang cute!

And some other fun pictures

These kids are everything to me! I'm so proud to call them mine. How grateful I am to Heavenly Father for sending me these precious children!

Keira sent home with her present a card that said "All about Mom." I wasted to share her answers to these questions:
How old is your mom? 20 years
How much does your mom weigh? 7 pounds
How tall is your mom? 2 feet
What does your mom do when you are at school? She works
What does your mom like to clean? Dust
What makes your mom happy? When I give her hugs and kisses
What does your mom like to watch? She doesn't really watch princess movies
What does your mom always tell you? To be good
When your mom goes shopping, what does she like to buy? Grapes
What does your mom like to eat? Vegetables
What does your mom like to play? She likes to play with me, with dolls

Isn't that so funny! I asked Thomas the same questions and here are his answers:
28yrs; 45 pounds; 9 feet; play with Keira; cleans the floor; giving hugs and kisses; Cinderella; To be nice; buys toys for us; breakfast; toys-princesses

More of CA

Here are more of California pictures from my phone. I rotated them on the computer but apparently it doesn't keep it that way for this, so sorry for the sideways pictures.

Splash mountain picture of the picture, so not good quality. Thomas looks terrified. Keira too but you can't see her very well. Natalie, Andy, and I were "sleeping." (This is now Thomas's new favorite ride)

Thomas got to meet the Lorax at Universal Studios

Amazing sculptures at Snake Park by Jared's house

California Adventures

I haven't been on vacation with mom and everyone in forever, so it was great spending Spring Break in California with them! Of course, we made a stop in Vegas and crashed on Grandma's floor and couches. We didn't get to see them for long before we headed off to CA to spend some time with Jared and Brittany. I hadn't seen their house yet and we were all anxious to meet little Chase...what a cutie! I wish I would had gotten some shots of any of the Bunker clan, but Thomas, Avery, Keira, and Austin had a great time chasing each other around the yard, snake park (pictures to come later), and the beach.

Here the kids are enjoying Avery and Austin's swing

At the tide pools...Thomas loved looking for little crabs

At the happiest place on Earth...on the Jungle Cruise

Matching Minnie Pillowcase dresses Natalie and Mom made. They are so crafty and it turned out so cute. Keira's dress was a bit of a pain as the dress was too short, then too long, and now it is just right!

Another homemade Easter outfit. (We have eggs and a bunny)

Don't you love Chris's style? :) Sweat pants hiked up to keep him cool. What a stud.

It's too bad Thomas wasn't smiling. We finally got a shot in front of Mickey

Universal Studios...it's been years!

It was raining pretty good when we got there so we all wore these lovely yellow ponchos. One of our favorites: the tram. 3D King Kong was amazing!

So fun! And it was great seeing everyone in Vegas at the Leu's and at GP Bunker's, and great spending time with the Bunker's and Dean's in CA! And a big THANK YOU to Mom for a wonderful trip!

Luck o' the Irish

I lucked out on St. Patty's Day and got to share a bit of the morning with them. We had a little fun with it this year. A little leprechaun got into the house, got into some mischief as he turned some furniture upside down, put the phone in the fridge, and turned some of the clover decorations upside down, too. He left his little footprints leading to each thing he messed up. But he did leave behind a note for the kids wishing them a Happy St. Patrick's Day and a little bit of gold. The kids loved this surprise when they woke up!

Keira's gold (notice the chair and end table flipped over)

Thomas later became the leprechaun and started messing up other things around the house

Thomas's gold (notice the little footprints)

Later that night the leprechaun came back and left some picture cards of everyone that Natalie made so the kids could have fun playing Go Fish or memory or something like that with all our pictures. Very cute. They were so excited to have the leprechaun come!
Hope you had a Lucky St. Patty's Day!

2 catch up pictures:

Keira had her first time at the dentist and was the perfect patient. I am so glad my kids are good sports at the dentist...although getting x-rays of their teeth gags them.

A guy down the street always makes snow sculptures, so we stopped to admire his art. Keira loved it!
